Two months into parenthood and we’re are starting to sort of get that swing of things. Every day is so different, but we feel more confident and capable.
This glass pitcher is one of the best Amazon purchases I made during this period. Olive was drinking more formula per feeding, so it made sense to make it by the batch. It saves us time, which is especially helpful if she gets fussy and hungry. It also allows for flexibility in meal size. We typically feed her the same amount each meal, but there have been times she seemed to need 20 ml extra, or get a little 60 ml midnight snack.

Make sure to follow any breastmilk or formula directions to ensure the liquid is safe to consume. We feed her Enfamil NeuroPro, which can be refrigerated up to 24 hours. If you’re worried about keeping track, I’ve found using an erasable marker on the glass pitcher to make note of the time the formula was made has been helpful.

I found that a second solly wrap really came in handy. I wore her for all naps, so when one wrap got a little dirty, I could toss it in the wash and not worry about being nap trapped (which really wouldn’t have been the worst thing…). PLUS these wraps come in so many beautiful colors and patterns, it’s nice to the able to switch things up. Amazon has a good assortment, but if you’re wanting something specific, it may help to head to their website to purchase.
Let’s help the new parents out there. Drop a comment below if there were any purchases you made that you found to be helpful in the second month!
