Top Two Amazon Purchases With A One Month Old Baby

It’s incredible the amount of stuff we need once our babies are born. We spend so much time perfecting our baby registries before they arrive, but it never ends up covering everything. I’ve found Amazon to be my best friend lately, even more so than before. There have been some 3 am emergency purchases, some not so necessary influenced purchases, and then the usual ‘dog ate all the pacifiers, let’s buy more’ purchases.

Here are the two items I purchased on Amazon in our first month with Olive that made a huge difference. We saved many onesies and got more sleep!

This stain remover has become essential. I was using it on almost every onesie in the beginning when blowouts were happening constantly. I still use the strain treater now, but not just on baby poop. It gets out puree stains, wine stains, curry stains, and more. I love it because the ingredients are more natural and baby friendly vs. using harsh chemicals. It also comes in various sizes, like a stain remover pen, small spray bottle, large spray bottle, and refill bags. You thought Folex was good? This stuff is magic.

The love to dream sleep sack was a game changer for us. As we got to know our baby and her preferences, we started to realize the swaddles we had were not ideal with how she liked to sleep. She’s an arms up baby – not a swaddle arms to the body baby. She was constantly wiggling her arms out of her swaddles in her sleep. The love to dream sleep sack allowed for her arms to be up yet contained while feeling compression on her body and letting her legs move freely. She loves this thing, and so do we. As she started to roll, we upgraded her to the transitional sleep sack with the same benefits, but removable arms. It’s also really easy to put on and take off while the two way zipper makes diaper changes super easy.

Let’s help the new parents out there. Drop a comment below if there were any purchases you made that you found to be helpful in the first month!
