This post was made possible by iced coffee. More specifically, iced coffee made by a Mr. Coffee Iced Coffee Maker.
Mark and I have collected a lot of different coffee makers over the years (like your typical 12 pot drip coffee brewer, a Nespresso, Chemex, French press, cold brew coffee maker, etc). However, this iced coffee maker is kind of unique in how specific it is – so I wanted to review it and help you decide if you need to add it your collection too.
In this post I’ll go over some specs, pros, cons, and some favorite recipes below. I’ll try to keeping things short and sweet for you!
Introducing the Mr. Coffee Iced Coffee Maker. A machine that makes iced coffee.

In actuality, it brews appropriately strong coffee so that you won’t end up drinking watered down coffee after your ice melts. This machine does not make ice, though it does suggest using large ice cubes in the brewing process. Quick note on the ice – the ice will melt immediately if you brew the coffee over it, requiring you to add more afterward. I prefer to wait a little while until after the brew to add my ice, keeping it a bit stronger in flavor.
This coffee maker is small enough you can store it away, but nice enough looking where you can leave it out. It comes with an insulated cup with lid and straw that fits perfectly with the machine to drip the coffee right into. All you need to buy is the coffee (whatever coffee grounds your beautiful heart desires)!
Here’s what you’ve been waiting for:

FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall, I’m happy to have this in my collection. I like to have options at home for coffee, and it has definitely saved me a ton of money (sorry Starbucks). When I first opened the box, I was a bit worried about the quality of the machine because it is lightweight and mostly plastic – but it has held up really well so far and I’ve had zero problems with it. I could see this making a great gift for someone moving into their first apartment or dorm!
