WHAT BETTER TIME TO START A BLOG…

We got back from an eight-day trip in Granby, Colorado for some R&R a couple of days ago and my creative juices are flowing. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for some time now, but my modest self always thought no one would ever read it. I’ve been inspired by enough women now that I no longer worry if anyone is reading it, what anyone thinks about it, or how successful it ends up being. I care, and I am listening, but I am not worrying.

Who is ‘we’? My boyfriend, Mark, and I met up with two friends (who also live in Dallas) in Denver before driving to our AirBnB on Lake Granby. Halfway through our stay, another Dallas friend came to join in on some adventures before we all headed back to Denver to catch our flights.

How was Colorado? Inspiring. Much needed. Beautiful. We went on hikes, rented a pontoon boat and went fishing, whitewater rafted for my first time (SO much fun), cooked delicious meals, and spent quality time with great friends. We had a ton of weddings and trips canceled this year due to COVID-19. A trip out to the mountains was precisely what we needed.

Now it’s time to get back to the grind. I’ve got houses to sell and buildings to lease. A new blog. Freelance writing gigs. On top of that, we bought a house 2 months ago and have a ton of projects we have planned to carry out this year as well!

I’ll keep you posted 😉
